The Centre for Volunteering
The Centre for Volunteering is the peak body in NSW, promoting and supporting volunteering and community participation. The Centre is a not-for-profit organisation and includes Volunteering NSW, its service delivery arm, and the School of Volunteer Management (SVM), a registered training organisation. The Centre is dedicated to increasing volunteer opportunities for young people.
Volunteer opportunities for young people
The Centre for Volunteering has been assisting young people to find volunteer opportunities for the past 30 years through the Student Community Involvement Program (SCIP).
Volunteering at The Centre
Volunteering opportunities at The Centre include the following areas: web development, journalism, public speaking, research on youth volunteering, events and running SCIP at your school.
